The Ideal Glass for Rosazzo

The Chardonnay Glass was designed for enjoying full-bodied white wines. They have a wider bowl and a tapered top to enhance the buttery and oaky notes found in aged wines.

The wide bowl steers the wine to the sensitive parts of the tongue, ensuring that the acidity creates a harmonious balance with the sweet aromas of the wine.

The wide bowl allows the full bouquet of aromas to develop. It also reduces the risk for over-concentrated aromas.

About Rosazzo DOCG

Rosazzo was a subzone of Friuli Colli Orientali DOC.

In 2011 it was established as a separate DOCG.

Rosazzo is a blend of several grapes where the most important is Friulano:

Wine Region Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Climate

The climate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia is influenced by both the Alps and the Sea.

The Julian Alps in the north provide shelter from the cold winds, while both hot sommers and cold winters are tempered by the Adreatic Sea.

This even climate allows the grapes to develop balanced acidity and strong flavors.
