Nebbiolo Rosato is from Piemonte in North West Italy.

The local Nebbiolo grape is also used to make the famous reds Barolo and Barbaresco.

About Nebbiolo Rosato

Nebbiolo Rosato is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, but is not as tannic as Nebbiolo wines such Barolo and Barbaresco.

Historically the Nebbiolo wines were originally vinified in a light Rosé version. So Nebbiolo Rosato is the original Nebbiolo. A similar history as Claret in Bordeaux.
