Picapoll is known for its light, crisp, and sometimes slightly fruity profile. It pairs well with a variety of cheeses.
Opt for cheeses with moderate saltiness and creaminess to balance the wine's acidity.
You can also add fresh fruits (grapes, apples, pears), nuts (almonds, walnuts), or a light drizzle of honey to enhance the pairing.
The tanginess of a Goat Cheese (Chèvre) will complements the subtle
fruit notes of Picapoll.
Ricotta is especially good if served with a drizzle of honey or fresh fruits.
The creamy texture and mild flavors of a Brie work beautifully with Picapoll.
Camembert is similar to Brie but with slightly more earthiness.

Picpoul de Pinet is an AOC for wines made exclusively from Picpoul Blanc in the communes of Pinet, Mèze, Florensac, Castelnau-de-Guers, Montagnac and Pomérols in Languedoc.
In South Rhone, Picpoul is used as a minor blending grape in white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
