The Ideal Glass for Verdicchio

The Sauvignon Blanc glass is smaller than a Chardonnay glass.

It has a more narrow bowl to concentrate the crisp and citrusy aromas characteristic of zesty and fruity white wines.

Verdicchio is one of Italy's greatest white wines.

There are two Verdicchio Riserva DOCGs in Marche in sentral Italy:

The minimum aging period for Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG is 18 months, with minimum 6 months in the bottle.

The minimum aging period for Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG (2010) is 18 months.
