Probus is a rare red wine grape created by crossing Kadarka and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is known for producing deeply colored, full-bodied wines with high aging potential.
Rich aromas of dark berries, ripe pomegranate, plums, and blueberries, with subtle notes of spices, chocolate, and occasionally tobacco.

Developed in the 1980s at the Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia.
Named in honor of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius Probus, who planted vineyards in the region during the 3rd century.
