About

Blaufränkisch has been around since the Middle Ages.

Once it was considered one of the greatest wine grapes in the world.

Unlike grapes from Italy and France that have travelled all the world, Blaufränkisch stayed in the Austria/Hungary region to be cultivated and consumed.

It is genetically related to Zweigelt and St.Laurent.
